Keep moving while moving

Are you planning to move to Vienna? Or somewhere else? Then I am talking to you!

Planning and organising a relocation to another country is a lot of work, it is very stressful and it takes a lot of time! I moved from Vienna to Malta in 2003 and then I moved back from Malta to Vienna in 2017.

The second relocation was no fun at all as I was pregnant! I actually moved when I was 7 months pregnant! Furthermore, in addition to organising the relocation and packing dozens of boxes, I had to find and train a new employee (as I was going into maternity leave).

Everybody has a different background. Whatever your story to relocating, there are always things that move down the priority list when time is limited, when settling into a new country. And one of them is very often exercising.

Believe me, I know what I am talking about! When I moved to Malta, I was working long hours. We had to set up the procedures of the newly established bank, it was demanding but also rewarding! However, the long hours at work meant no time for working out at all. To the contrary, we used to go for late dinners after work! The result was an increase in weight of around 7kg within 2 months!
